Rough sketch map accompanying ms. transcription by William Bollaert of Charles Elliot's account of a journey made in May 1844 down the Trinity River from Dallas to Magnolia. Elliot served as British chargé d'affaires to the Texas Republic. Shows distances in miles and identifies various bluffs along the route. Bound within Bollaert's journal entries for February 1844, forming part of his Papers, 1837-1849, Ayer MS 83.
